Keythe Farley
Story & Book
Keythe Farley is a writer/director/actor from Los Angeles. Bat Boy is the recipient of two Richard Rodgers Award grants, the Outer Critics’ Circle and Lortel Awards for Best Off-Broadway Musical along with eight Drama Desk Award nominations. On stage, Farley has appeared in The Black Rider at the Ahmanson Theatre and in Around the World in 80 Days at the Cleveland Playhouse, and is a member of The Actors’ Gang theatre company whose production of George Orwell’s 1984 toured the world from 2006–12. Farley provides the vocal performance for “Thane Krios” in Mass Effect 2 (IGN Character of the Year), “Kellogg” in Fallout 4, and “Santa” in the Netflix Christmas special Alien X-Mas. Farley also directs voice-over performers for the animated series Rugrats, Adventure Time, and Fright Krewe, as well as video games that include God of War, Call of Duty, and Final Fantasy XV. keythefarley.com

Brian Flemming is a film director and playwright. Flemming was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley and studied English at the University of California, Irvine. He has written for the Independent Spirit Awards and written for and voice directed the TV show Rugrats. His films include Hang Your Dog in the Wind, Nothing So Strange, and The God Who Wasn’t There. He has appeared on Beverly Hills 90210, Sisters, and the HBO movie, And the Band Played On.

Heathers, Legally Blonde, and Bat Boy each have US and UK cast albums; Heathers certified Gold. His latest musical with Nell Benjamin, Huzzah!, opened this September at San Diego’s Old Globe Theater. Just For Us; David Byrne’s American Utopia; Rocky; Oh, Hello; Peter and the Starcatcher; The Pee-wee Herman Show; and Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson. For television, he co-created Mozart in the Jungle (Amazon) and directed the Emmy-winning comedy specials John Mulaney: Kid Gorgeous and John Mulaney: Baby J for Netflix; and Alex Edelman: Just For Us for HBO.
